Simplify Your Transfer Process
Our Transfer Credit Equivalency Self-Service Tool allows you to see which courses you’ve taken at another school that will transfer to ACU. Using your transcripts, you can enter information from multiple schools and courses to estimate your transfer equivalency credits.
**The results from this tool are not confirmed nor verified to apply to degree requirements.**
Course transfers are contingent on different degree plans and specific to certain departmental requirements and accreditations. You need to contact your admissions counselor or academic advisor for more information about how your transfer courses will apply toward a degree plan. Find your degree plan in the ACU Catalog.
Important Information Before Using the Tool
All credits and progress-to-degree estimates from the tool are subject to formal review and approval by the institution before being counted toward a degree.
- Transfer courses with a letter grade A, B, or C from regionally accredited institutions will be posted to your ACU record and may count toward a degree plan if the credits are approved.
- ACU does not accept developmental or remedial courses, institution-specific courses, or courses in which a grade of D or lower was received.
- When entering transfer courses, select the school where you originally completed the course – not the school it was transferred to.
- Courses will be applied to the degree program upon verified evaluation of the official transcript by the Registrar.
- Transfer courses will be posted at the same level they were taken at a previous institution. ACU accepts only work equivalent or comparable to work offered at ACU.
- International Transcripts should not be entered into the Transfer Credit Equivalency Tool, as these transcripts are evaluated on a case by case basis.
- The transfer credit equivalency self-service tool results reflect an unverified evaluation of your transfer credits. An official evaluation will be completed upon receipt of your application for admission and all official transcripts.
Can’t Find Your Course with the Transfer Tool?
If your previous institution or courses do not appear in the Transfer Credit Equivalency Tool, please complete this form with the appropriate course information. We will begin the process of evaluating these courses to determine their transfer equivalency.
